As if you haven’t had enough to eat and drink in the last day, well here’s another way for you to indulge … at St. Nick’s Winter in Woodinville Wine Weekend, December 5-7. Friday evening starts with a tasting at Molbak’s Garden + Home and for $60 you can taste wines from over 30 wineries. Saturday and Sunday offer the opportunity to do it up at those same 30+ wineries for $65 for both days where you can meet winemakers, imbibe and rely upon your designated driver who obviously deserves some type of gift for putting up with you lushes.

Those of you clamoring for more government intervention in our daily lives will be happy to learn that the FDA has recently approved new rules requiring calorie labels to be placed on all prepared foods sold by establishments with 20 or more locations. The Associated Press reports that the new regulations will also apply to convenience stores, bakeries, coffee shops, pizza delivery, amusement parks, and vending machines. In other news, the ability to enjoy eating and drinking without guilt, remorse or long-term neurosis has suffered yet another serious blow. Thanks Feds.
