After only six weeks on the market, Microsoft decided its experiment in selling expensive sexting devices to teens wasn’t working, thereby giving credence to the rumor that it had only sold 500 of the phones. Now it’s the Sidekick, T-Mobile’s now-extinct phone developed by a subsidiary that Microsoft bought for $500 million. (Money well spent!) At this point, if you own a Microsoft phone, you should just expect someone from Redmond to take it out of your hand and smash it on the ground.
