My Bloody Valentine is playing All Tomorrow’s Parties in Monticello, New York on my friggin’ birthday. That would be more than enough by itself, but Shellac, Polvo, Mogwai and Wooden Shjips are performing as well. Oh yeah: and the Meat Puppets doing Meat Puppets II and Thurston Moore doing Psychic Hearts. I think my head may seriously explode. Even the goddamned venue looks killer, so I really hope I manage to snag tickets when they go on sale Friday morning.
