The Lewiston Tribune reports (their site is password protected, you can read their story here) that late Friday a jury convicted Christopher Jack Reid aka Jack Venice for felony rape and burglary. Reid and WSU student Kyle Schott of Renton met last fall and went drunkenly carousing through Pullman’s fraternities and sororities until arriving at Kappa Alpha Theta, where a woman says Reid raped her. Schott made a deal, taking third-degree rape and second-degree burglary convictions, along with 13 months jail time, in exchange for his testimony against Reid. The victim also identified him as the perpetrator from the stand.
