For its second annual artist residency, Crawl Space has invited recent UW MFA grad Zack Bent for a week of confinement. Bent will spend seven days collaborating on new work with his wife, Gala, and young sons, Ezra and Solomon. While Bents previous work comprises spare narrative photographs and videos, his new subject is his familys engagement with domestic rituals and objects. Collaboration is nothing new for the Bent clan, though they usually work at home. You can stop by and visit while the ensemble is busy preparing for the show (at 6 p.m. Wed., June 18 and 11 a.m. Thurs., June 19), and witness the chaotic four-way process. Or wait until Saturdays opening to see the finished results (on view through July 6). Either way, the work will be brand-spanking new, and, it seems, a home-away-from-home meditation on the very topic of home. Crawl Space, 504 E. Denny Way, 201-2441, www.crawlspacegallery.com. Free. Opening reception 69 p.m. ADRIANA GRANT
