Here’s a short rundown of restaurant news this week…

Cookies at Belle Pastry.
Looking for butter-loaded baked goods? Jean Claude’s Belle Pastry opened a second location at 77 Spring Street downtown on Wednesday morning. The Bellevue-based shop specializes in French pastries, tarts, and cakes.
A new bakery is also coming soon to 9602 16th Avenue Southwest in White Center. 3.14 Bakery will sell homemade pies (obviously), cookies, and more.
If you prefer food with more sustenance, Tidbit Bistro re-opened on Wednesday at 1401 Broadway East on Capitol Hill. The Spanish-Italian restaurant, previously located at 10th Avenue East, now offers more seating and extended dining hours.
Boozehounds, a sports bar called The Thirsty Fish will replace The Acorn Eatery at 9041 Holman Road Northwest in Ballard, come August. Expect a full bar, a seafood-oriented menu, and plenty of televisions.
Speaking of seafood, The Seattle Crab Co. at 1000 Northeast Northgate Way is closed. Taking over the space will be an establishment that operates as a coffee shop by day and a sit-down Italian restaurant by night. La Bera is slated to open Monday, July 19.
That’s all, folks!
