This is a pretty cool public information tool from the city of Seattle. It’s real-time log of Fire Department 911 dispatches. For instance, at 7:08 AM today, an engine was dispatched to 16th Ave. to check out an unknown odor. 45 minutes later, a different engine was sent to 75th Ave. S. to respond to a car fire. The strangely mesmerizing list refreshes every 60 seconds. if doing so didn’t seem unsavory, we could imagine constructing an entertaining, small stakes betting game on what type of incident will arise next.(h/t Blogging Georgetown)
