R.I.P. Chapel BarThe Chapel at 1600 Melrose Ave. will close its doors on September 3, according to Capitol Hill Seattle. The beloved bar was best known for both its extensive cocktail menu and its unique history as a mortuary. In more upbeat news, Eater Seattle reports that Taverna MaZi is taking over the former La Piazza space at 3426 N.E. 55th St. The restaurant will serve Greek-inspired cuisine and cocktails.
