A white Aberdeen High School student is facing a felony charge for a racial comment posted on his MySpace page, the Daily World reports from Grays Harbor. The teen called a black student a “Fucking Nigger” is his posting, and wrote “i?ll hang you so fast if you tell onme [sic] ever again.” The youth faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.The black student is “afraid that [the suspect] might carry out his threat,” said Grays Harbor County Deputy Prosecutor Megan Valentine.Still, it’s a sign of progress in Harbor race relations – a prosecutor taking action in such a case. As we’ve reported, similar name calling in the past was mostly excused by local officials there. The teen suspect also now says he’s sorry and “I just wish I could take it back…”
