Hosted by MOViN 92.5’s hilarious morning personality Monti, and co-produced by Comedy Underground, the new Friday–Saturday “Ladies of Laughter” series is part of a programming retrofit for West Seattle’s venerable, nautically themed Admiral Theater. (Yes, there’s more to life than midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and discount matinees of Bee Movie.) Portions of each ticket sale for the LoL series (through Sept. 27) benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, all the more reason to make the drive. This weekend’s featured performer is L.A. comedienne Carrie Snow, a stand-up lady who was a writer and story editor for three seasons on Roseanne.
