The state Attorney General today filed two charges of vehicular assault against King County Assessor Scott Noble. Witnesses reported seeing Noble pull over to the shoulder of I-5 in Federal Way a little after 2 a.m. Jan. 18. He proceeded to pull a U-turn and started driving south in the northbound lane before striking a Jeep and injuring two women. A blood test put his BAC at .22. Noble told officers responding to the scene he didn’t know how much he’d had to drink, just that “I had too much.”If convicted, the charges carry a maximum sentence of 20 years. Noble’s arraignment is scheduled for March 19 at 8:30 a.m. The viewing area for the arraignment room is pretty small so get their early if you want a seat.
