Bad news for West Seattle folks: Meander’s Kitchen at 6032 California Ave. S.W. is serving its last supper today. The beloved establishment — named Seattle’s best diner in 2011 — is shuttering so that its owners can focus on its new White Center location in the former home of Papa’s Pub and Brewsky’s. Meander’s announced the closure via Facebook, writing: “In order to bring our best to you in the new space, we’ll be closing the West Seattle shop this week…. Come say howdy…I’ll miss the West Seattle shop dearly, but I hope to see you all in White Center!”
