Police are classifying the death of a man in a Bellevue office park as a homicide, the city’s first since October 2006. It was a remarkable run for Bellevue, which–according to FBI data–until the incident trailed only Centennial, CO and Woodbridge Township, NJ among cities of 100,000 or more for longest active stretch without a homicide. (It may also have trailed Provo, UT and Santa Clarita, CA, depending on when in 2006 their homicides occurred.)
