I’m a former Boeing employee and wife of retired 30+ year Boeing engineer (including the 787). Boeing made a HUGE error parting the production out to outside companies – France, Japan, Italy. It would have been okay if the design had been done in Everett before going to the foreign partners. I will wait a year or so before volunteering to board a 787 – there are too many bugs yet to be worked out…”
