Protests of Shell Oil’s mooring of the Polar Pioneer continued on Monday, with protestors forming a blockade at Terminal 5. Those protests followed Saturday’s on-water protests against Shell’s plans to drill in the Arctic Ocean.
At the Saturday protest, hundreds of “kayaktivists” took the water for the “Paddle in Seattle.” Photographer Jeremy Dwyer-Lindgren was on the water with the protestors, and got these shots. Additional photos of Monday’s rally by our own Casey Jaywork.
