Ted PassonKimya Dawson will play What The Heck Fest this Sunday.Anacortes’ annual music and arts blowout, What The Heck Fest, kicks off today and goes through Sunday, with full days of comedy, film, food, a huge rummage sale, and, of course, live music. It’s worth the drive up north — hometown mainstays The Lonely Forest are noticeably absent from the schedule, but Olympia’s K Records has a strong representation in the lineup this year. The folk-pop band LAKE will play tonight, tomorrow will see solo performances by Calvin Johnson and Karl Blau, and Kimya Dawson will close out the fest on Sunday night. Check out the rest of the lineup, schedules, and lots more info at What The Heck Fest’s official website.
