Trip Fantastic is a new comic book from Jason Baxter (one half of local electronic duo USF), Mac Hamilton, and graphic designer Derek Charm that details the exploits of its titular daredevil protagonist. The first issue has been online since September (click on the images to turn the pages), and tonight at the Cairo it will be released in a limited run of 30 physical copies, which are ostensibly less seizure-inducing than the online edition’s flashing colors. The event will also feature a DJ set from Self Actualized, a.k.a Beat Connection’s Reed Juenger. The release party begins at 6 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
