Claudia Rowe is a former P-I reporter who is soon to be the new news editor at the Stranger, succeeding Erica Barnett, who is now Publicola’s news editor. And now that her successor’s been named, Barnett wastes no time going after her, asserting that Rowe wrote a slanted anti-Nickels story that had the benefit of absolutely zero reporting, relying instead on anonymous commentators on the website of Rowe’s previous employer. The ongoing catfight potential here is high; hopefully it doesn’t go unfulfilled.
