You may remember that last year, Sheriff Sue Rahr went on a tour of outlying areas to say that police services would be cut and low-level criminal investigations would cease due to major shortfalls in the projected 2009 budget. Now with a projected $50 million deficit in 2010, Rahr is back and on YouTube saying that the 2010 projected deficits will mean even more cuts if the state legislature doesn’t help King County raise more money.
