You may recall Steve the ORCA Whale, the apparently amphibious regional transit mascot introduced by Sound Transit. Well, now he’s got a buddy to ride those trains with. Zap is the face of the agency’s new train safety campaign for kids. Of course, if Seattle drivers are anything like Houston’s when it comes to avoiding light rail trains, Zap might want to preach to the adults, too. (h/t Seattle Transit Blog)
