Brooklyn rock band the Obits have a lot to commend them– the fact that their vocalist Rick Froberg was previously a member of the Hot Snakes and Drive Like Jehu, for example — but it’s the band’s hard edge and dynamic, driving riffs that make them so much fun to see live.
