A group of buddies got together on Saturday night at an Enumclaw bar to celebrate their friend’s birthday. At some point, the birthday boy decided to get on his bike and peddle to his truck, which was parked at the dairy farm where he worked. Except he never made it. On his way, the cyclist was hit and killed by a 24-year-old man who also happened to be one of the friends who’d helped him celebrate. The driver was so distraught, he turned a sad situation tragic by pulling a gun at the scene and killing himself. Police are investigating whether alcohol played a role. (King 5)
