So, I guess that’s two (or three) questions, actually. Should Neko Case’s Middle Cyclone be considered a local release? And if so, is it one of the top 10 local releases of the year? She hasn’t called the greater Puget Sound home for a number of years, but we certainly claim her from time to time. And Middle Cyclone’s not her best record, but it certainly includes some choice cuts, and stands up well against the rest of the year’s offerings.Thoughts on this or other records we should consider for our list of the 10 best local releases of 2009?
