I swooned over adorable Seattle actor Mo Brady’s performance in 5th Avenue Theatre’s Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Now I get to see him play Barnaby in 5th Avenue’s production of Hello, Dolly! The Tony Award-winning musical about a matchmaker with ulterior motives opens this weekend. (You can check out the dreamy actor’s backstage blog and get a sneak peek at the show.) I plan on attending incognito because during my last visit, a well-meaning 5th Avenue employee approached me and exclaimed, “It’s so funny to meet you!” I was devastated. Funny to meet me?! Does this mean Brady doesn’t take me seriously either? Harrumph. We’ll see if he gets any applause from me. …Okay fine, he probably will.
