I’ll take this over Cheerleader Barbie or Sexy Kitten any day, but there’s still something not quite right about this costume choice. It’s probably because of the obvious: if one’s aiming for authenticity, march your daughter over to Goodwill or Value Village. Also, as one astute reader on Monitor Mix pointed out, it looks a bit more like a Gwar fan costume than anything Kat Bjelland or Kathleen Hanna would have been caught “rioting” in back in the day…
