The Homeless People Who Died in King County in 2016

Above are the King County residents who died without a place to call home in 2016. Some fell. Some were beaten to death or shot. Some overdosed. Some committed suicide. Some froze to death, or died from bronchitis. One person was killed by a pus-spewing infection in the tissue surrounding their heart. The vast majority of these deaths could have been prevented with simple housing and proper health care.
