In news that comes as little surprise, Seattle’s first legal recreational pot shop – Cannabis City – has run out of weed. According to the Associated Press, the store sold its last bag Thursday night around 5 p.m. and owner James Lathrop doesn’t expect to have any new product to offer buyers for 10-15 days.

As the AP reports:

Cannabis City saw huge crowds when it opened at noon Tuesday. By the time it closed, it had sold 11 pounds of marijuana. Most of it was sold in thousands of packages of 2 grams apiece.

The story indicates that the “going rate” for weed at Cannabis City was “about $22 a gram.”

For the math averse, 11 pounds of pot sold at $22 a gram is over $108,000.
