Mariners pitching coach Rick Waits has some legitimate moves. We found this out via video, thanks to a batting practice dance-off involving Waits and pitcher Tom Wilhelmsen before yesterday’s game.

As Deadspin notes: “Waits, much like your dad after a few Heinekens at a family barbecue, refuses to turn down.”

My dad preferred harder drinks than Heinekens at family functions, and his crescendos usually involved falling asleep – but, still, I see what they’re saying. On the outfield dance floor, Waits can’t be stopped.

Wilhelmsen, a righty on and off the dance floor, will get a rare start tonight against the Minnesota Twins.
