In either case the day was yet another chapter closed on the long history of Seattle...
voluntarily traversing the city without pants.
Or this girl, who managed to talk a cop into playing along, sort of.
(Note that his run to catch the train was a lot more sincere)
Self awareness got the better of this guy, running hard to catch a flight he didn't have.

Afterall, it is hard to ignore someone dropping their pants in the middle of the ride.
And definitely some double takes.
Maybe a stare or two.
But it was mighty hard not to throw a glance.
Most clothed folks seemed keen to try to ignore the whole thing.
It seemed like a normal day on Seattle's Link Light Rail. People lined up to buy tickets.
And taking photos of the grey skyline.
Searching for fake airplane tickets at SeaTac Airport.
And folks took it to heart, waiting pantless for the next train.
Participants are asked to go about their daily routine as though it were just another day on the grind
Known as No Pants Light Rail, the event is held every year in early January in cities around the world.
Pants were missing as several dozen Seattleites decided to ditch their trousers in favor of a more natural transit experience.
Pants.
Yet something was missing...
and enjoyed spending time on their phones.

As part of the 11th Annual Global No Pants Day, Emerald City Improv welcomed slackless rail riders to take part in what is a pretty self-explanatory celebration of liberated limbs. Dozens of participants boarded a Light Rail train heading for Sea Tac International Airport, took off their pants and then enjoyed the commute. That’s it. See our slideshow here.
