This 7″ follow up to a previous 7″ (Extra Point) is a sweet little teaser for the power-pop group’s forthcoming full-length release. Both its tracks—the Pinback-esque “Firewood” and “Lately,” a breezy, Nada Surf-styled pop tune–sound insubstantial compared to “Wrecked,” the brawny, guitar-churning first single from the new album, issuing this summer on Fin Records. Seacats officially release the Burger EP at the Columbia City Theater this Thursday (4/25).
