Sporting a Seattle Hearts You tee, bassist and backup vocalist Tord A˜verland-KnudsenaE™s coos onstage at Neumos on Wednesday, August 27.
Being one of 107.7 The EndaE™s aEœAre You On The List?aE concert, I was curious what the showaE™s dynamic would be like. Really, it wasnaE™t much different than other shows IaE™ve seen at Neumos aE” just a little smaller, and a little younger.
Wombats lead guitarist Matthew Murphy also picks up lead guitar.

Fan of the night... Sara had already seen the band once aE” in Europe!

An indie-rock concert wouldn't be complete without a little thrash.
Murphy and The Wombats went out with a bang... and some massive fan adoration.
Just before leaving the stage, one of them aE” I didnaE™t see who aE” set the keys to loop aEœYankee Doodle.aE Damn Brits!

When I previewed this show, I wrote about how after listening to The Wombats’ debut album “The Wombats Proudly Present… A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation” for just a few minutes I was on the ‘net looking for a plane ticket to Liverpool. Well, seeing them live only made me want to go more. All photos by Nick Feldman.Published on August 28, 2008
