This year’s Chinatown/International District Dragon-Fest was hosted by none other than (the very American) McDonalds. Over 25,000 people attended the over 30 performances including Chinese dragon dances, martial arts demonstrations, and Japanese drumming. A food walk of various restaurants let participants sample everything from dim sum to taro slushies for $2 apiece. Photos by Cathy Robison.Published on July 11, 2011
