For years, scientists ran tests on Foxie the chimpanzee. Her babies were taken from her shortly after birth. Thankfully, Foxie was rescued and now lives at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest in Cle Elum. She showers her love on her adopted kids - the plethora of troll dolls sent to her by volunteers.

In April, Seattle Weekly showcased some of the adorable orphaned baby animals that PAWS was working to rehabilitate. This baby beaver lost his mother to a jet ski and was brought to PAWS weighing only one pound.
If warmth and happiness do not fill your being after viewing this slideshow – made up of the cutest animals of 2010 – then there’s a chance that you have no soul. Come on, people, there’s a baby beaver and a to-fawn-over fawn. You don’t get much cuter than that. On another note, the cutest animals were, overwhelmingly, dogs.
