For years, scientists ran tests on Foxie the chimpanzee. Her babies were taken from her shortly after birth. Thankfully, Foxie was rescued and now lives at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest in Cle Elum. She showers her love on her adopted kids - the plethora of troll dolls sent to her by volunteers.
The Seattle Kennel Club held their annual dog show, and Seattle Weekly was there to check out the competitors.
In August, Seattle Weekly visited the New Moon Farm Goat Rescue & Sanctuary, located in Arlington. This horse also lives on the farm.

If warmth and happiness do not fill your being after viewing this slideshow – made up of the cutest animals of 2010 – then there’s a chance that you have no soul. Come on, people, there’s a baby beaver and a to-fawn-over fawn. You don’t get much cuter than that. On another note, the cutest animals were, overwhelmingly, dogs.
