Every last Saturday of the month, The Emerald City Soul Club presents Talcum, a dance night of rare and northern soul at Chop Suey! A medley of soul DJs rotate throughout the night, spinning old 45’s to a packed and snazzy dancefloor. Talcum powder covers the floor, allowing guests the fun of slipping and sliding around to great hits. The soul club also hosts second Tuesdays at Lo-Fi Lounge, which boasts two dancefloors! Come on out and join in the fun at the next Christmas edition at the end of December. The month will mark the soul club’s 5th year in the making!Photos by Victoria HoltPublished on November 28, 2011
