A sunny weekend made for a crowded Cheese Festival at the Pike Place Market on May 16 and 17. At least the cheese was chowed down before any of it could melt. While people waited in long lines for the festival’s namesake, there were street performers, wine and beer tastings, cooking demonstrations and all the market usuals to whet the appetite.
