Come on, ref, that’s a red card!Even non-soccer fans have to admit it’s pretty cool to see restaurants and bars that would otherwise be dark packed (or not) with early morning fans watching World Cup games on the tube.So how cool is it that you can watch the World Cup at the McDonald’s at 6th and Virginia too?Okay, not very, simply because there’s a federal statute barring the use of “cool” and “McDonald’s” in the same sentence (I’ll get a year’s probation for the offense committed above this scribblin’). But considering most people down here on Western Ave. didn’t even know McDonald’s had TVs (plasmas even!); this is one super-sized McMindfuck!
