Without Walter Jones, the Seahawk offensive line is instantly downgraded to one of the worst in the league. With Marcus Trufant, the Seahawk secondary was among the league’s worst last year. Without him, every opponent stands a chance of putting up Air Coryell passing numbers. So how’s this for a double-whammy: Jones will undergo knee surgery that could keep him out for an extended period of time, while Trufant has a back problem that could render him equally useless. Ouch — and then some.
