Arizona prosecutors say they will indeed seek the death penalty against onetime Seattle prostitute Shawna Forde, along with Wenatchee white supremacist Gunny Bush and a third man, in the desert slayings of an alleged Mexican drug dealer and his child. The Arizona Star also reports that accused triggerman Bush, after killing the dealer and then wounding his wife, interrogated the 9-year-old child before executing her. If convicted, Bush, Forde and a local named Albert Gaxiola could be executed by lethal injection. (Bush also faces two homicide charges in Chelan County). Forde, raised in Everett but who most recently lived in Arizona where she headed a tiny renegade Minutemen group, is accused of leading the May 30 home invasion near the Arizona-Mexico border. Forde’s half-brother Merrill Metzger told SW the murders were part of a robbery spree to finance a grandiose Blackwater-style militia organization Forde hoped to form. She planned to take on drug cartels and rescue kidnap victims in Latin America.
