Seattle hates its national chains, and therefore is none too fond of Krispy Kreme. But seeing as how the doughnut giant is now trying to out-white-trash McDonald’s in the coffee department by offering five-cent cups of iced coffee (they’ve been offering hot cups of coffee at “Depression-era” prices since October), well, it’s pretty hard to criticize them for that. For Seattleites wondering where to find a Krispy Kreme, there’s one on 125th and Aurora, and another in SoDo on 1st Ave. S. Drink up!
