It’s wrapup season! It’s time to give food writers a week off chance to look deep, deep within ourselves, to examine what we’ve been eating this year and what we might eat in the coming 12 months. A few of the first wrapups to appear:Chow’s Year in Food, generally a good read, includes a great “Overexposed” section, which chronicles the So 5 Minutes Ago status of bacon (sorry, Kornelis), Korean frozen yogurt, and celebrity booze.Gourmet makes predictions for what’s hottt in 2009: sheep’s milk ice cream, bibimbap, Cuba, and “slow travel.”And Food & Wine magazine has a list of dishes you absolutely must make in the next year, including mustard-crusted lamb and tuna sandwiches with Spanish names.
