The Asian Hip Hop Summit Tour

Last year, the Asian Hip Hop Summit, which began as a local event in Los AngelesÂ’ Koreatown neighborhood several years ago, went on the road for the first ever Asian Hip Hop Summit Tour. On that jaunt, the touring artists just hit up a few major cities, Seattle among them. But this year, West Coast emcees Dumbfoundead, Lyraflip, Chosen 1, Youthinasia and DJ Dstrukt are repping Asian hip hop (and hip hop in general) all over the damn country. But the nice thing about the Asian Hip Hop Summit is that it brings in as many local artists as touring ones. Last year, the Seattle roster included Gabriel Teodros and Khingz; this year, it’s gonna be local powerhouses Orbitron, Sonny Bonoho, Know Choice, Daichi Diez, DJ Soul One and DJ Rise.
