Following the release of “Rabbit Fur Coat,” on which The Watson Twins backed Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis, the identical sisters from Louisville began to be recognized as having something special to offer in their own right. Hauntingly beautiful voices, the innate ability to harmonize and a raw approach to their music make Chandra and Leigh’s sound a dazzling culmination. It might not be dance party music, but I couldn’t think of many better ways to spend a night than nursing a beer and watching the Twins.
