For too long now, the D&D habit has been associated with all things wicked (or just nerdy). But today, Dungeon Masters and player characters will unite to take over the world! Well, not quite, but game enthusiasts will be introduced to fresh adventures with the release of the fourth-edition essentials: The Players Handbook, The Dungeon Masters Guide, and The Monster Manual. The Worldwide Dungeons and Dragons Game Day headquarters will also feature a 13-foot-tall Beholder to scare away those pesky Christian naysayers. Clandestine playerswhether human or elf, fighter or wizardwill have the opportunity to enact the new edition somewhere other than in the dark of their basements.
