JROCK Invades America Tour

Granted we find the WTF factor pretty high for J-Rock, a genre that appears to consist solely of guys with impeccable eyeliner singing nonsensical English lyrics. But the JROCK Invades America tour front-runners aren’t just wannabe punk rockers. D’espairsRay and the Underneath play music representative of Japan’s emerging underground culture. Hear that pummeling bass and earsplitting shrieking? That’s the sound of a revolution being launched against social conformity. These guys are all about self-expression, damn it, and they’ll all look the same while fighting for it, too.
