These days, state Sen. ADAM KLINE walks to work—all the way down the hall, from his bedroom to his home office. When the Legislature’s in session, he drives this hybrid (gasoline- electric) Toyota Prius, which gets 45 miles to the gallon. Former state legislator DAWN MASON, Kline’s opponent for his Senate seat, did not return phone calls.
