Was-sail away. Tomorrow, Pipers Orchard at Carkeek Park is hosting an apple wassailing party from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Inspired by English wassail ceremonies, the event at 950 Northwest Carkeek Park Rd. will include dancers, singers, and snacks.

This Sunday, the Central District's BottleNeck Lounge at 2328 Madison St. is one of a slew of bars opening early for the Seahawks playoff game. Get this: Bloody Mary's AND Holy Shit Bloody Mary's will be served throughout the morning, alongside plain ol' black coffee. The BottleNeck's regular snack and sandwich menu will be available, alongside Pop-Tarts, the breakfast of champions. Doors opens at 9:30 a.m., just shy of the 10 a.m. kickoff.
Make Marmalade. Tomorrow, Fremont's Book Larder at 4252 Fremont Ave. N. is hosting a demonstration with Blue Chair Jam Cookbook author Rachel Saunders. Cookbooks will be sold and signed, and marmalade will be made and taken home. Sign up here.
