Marijuana Melts In Your Mouth With The Marz Bar

Exploring medical-marijuana access point Aurora Alternative Medicine's cannabis edibles display case recently, I happened across the Millennium Edibles line of treats, which sport attractively kitschy, brightly colored, professional-appearing labels which appear equal parts Looney Tunes and head-shop in their artistic inspiration.

Exploring medical-marijuana access point Aurora Alternative Medicine's cannabis edibles display case recently, I happened across the Millennium Edibles line of treats, which sport attractively kitschy, brightly colored, professional-appearing labels which appear equal parts Looney Tunes and head-shop in their artistic inspiration. My purchase decision was considerably aided by the fact that these medibles looked, well, incredibly good.

Millennium still hasn't adopted the increasingly common industry practice of printing estimated dosages of THC or at least equivalent amounts of marijuana, but the label does tell us that cannabis butter is the active ingredient.

The Marz Bar itself turned out to be an absolutely delicious treat, chocolate cake iced with vanilla frosting and topped with chocolate kisses and sprinkles. It so happened that the bar I got had apparently just been made, because it was divinely moist and wonderfully fresh. We're talking melt-in-your-mouth territory.

Effects-wise, the Marz Bar falls about middle of the spectrum of cannabis medibles which I've sampled. About an hour after eating, the sharp edges of pain become mercifully blunted and recede into the background, allowing a little vacation of a couple hours' duration.

I found my Millennium Edibles Marz Bar at Aurora Alternative Medicine, 929 North 130th Street, open seven days a week from 10 to 10. Call 535-6428 for more information; Washington ID and medical marijuana paperwork required.
