Frelard's Anita's Crepes has closed, at least for now, My Ballard reports. Although Anita's brick-and-mortar location at 4350 Leary Way NW was forced to quickly lock its doors, the creperie that made a name for itself serving the farmers market masses is planning to reopen in a new location.
After a fatal Christmas Eve shooting, Munchbar will remain closed, according to the Bellevue Reporter. In a joint statement with Bellevue Square owner Kemper Development, the proprietors announced that the bar at 505 Bellevue Sq. has permanently shuttered. Munchbar/Mirror Lounge opened in 2011.
In better news: Later this month, Osteria La Spiga will begin lunch service. Eater reports that starting January 15, the Capitol Hill Italian restaurant at 1429 12th Ave. will offer salads, soups, sandwiches, and, of course, pasta to the midday rush.
