Tater tot emporium Zayda Buddy's at 5405 Leary Ave. NW is planning its first annual "Party Like It's 1999 New Year's Eve Bash." Selections from Prince's catalog hit the speakers at 6 p.m. and will play until the start of next year. In addition to the Midwestern-inspired menu, special cocktails like the "Minnesota Pop" will be up for grabs. Also making an appearance--a special drink in honor of the Gopher State's native son, the "Purple Rain." You never know, maybe Prince-aholic Maya Rudolph will make an appearance.
