Uptown, Downtown or Down Home: Downtown as in down south.....and then west ...of downtown.
Bubbles, Bloodies or Black Coffee: Just Caffe Vita. The do sell an assortment of beers, so if you need a little morning "blood thinner" with your sausage, you will be all set. They will also handcraft you a milkshake if you ask nicely.
Hungover, Hooked -Up or Hanging with the Family: Mostly this a spot for commuters and a smattering of folks who've attempted to sleep off their Mac's Triangle or Marv's Broiler buzz from the night before in their car. As for the family, these easy-to-eat sammies would be a great as a late-to-school breakfast for little more than the cost of an Egg McMuffin. If you are pulling hook-ups on a weeknight in the White Center area, good for you. Provided your conquest eats meat, you're in for a cheap treat.
What's Cooking: Two equally greasy and good variations on the simple breakfast sandwich. Whether you choose the Basic (English muffin, fried egg and American cheese wit bacon or Spam for $2.75 or house made sausage for $3.00) or the On Toast (Whole wheat, Texas, or sourdough bread and fried egg, sliced tomato and American cheese wit bacon or Spam $3.50 or house made sausage $3.75), you'll be more than satisfied. Add an order of Tater Tots ($2.25), OJ ($2.00) and/or Caffe Vita ($2.00), and you'll still be getting out the door fed and happy for less than the cost of a single Benedict at most breakfast joints.
